POST-DIVORCE

Need to Modify Your Utah Divorce Decree or Having Enforcement Issues? We Can Help.

DIVORCE DECREE MODIFICATION

Whether you need to adjust child support, change custody or your parenting plan, or modify another term of your decree, we can help.

We can save you the time and expense of filing a Motion or Petition to Modify Decree of Divorce and going through the lengthy court process.  Plus, many divorce decrees require you attempt mediation before heading to court.

Divorce decrees or other orders of the court can be modified when there is good cause, supported by a material and substantial change in circumstances. For example, a person may ask the court to increase child support payments because their ex-spouse is now making a much greater income than at the time of divorce.

We help with the modification process including all required paperwork and filing.

DIVORCE DECREE ENFORCEMENT

If your ex spouse is not following the terms of your divorce decree, you have options.

You can file a Motion to Enforce with the Utah courts (formally called an Order to Show Cause) and head to court. Or you can try mediation to reach an agreement. Mediation saves time, money and stress. Schedule a consultation below to go over your options.
