WHAT IS UNCONTESTED DIVORCE?
An Uncontested Divorce means that you and your spouse have already reached full agreement on all major issues related to your separation — without needing court intervention or ongoing negotiation.

This typically includes:
Division of assets and debts
Spousal support (alimony), if applicable
Child custody and parenting time
Child support arrangements

If you’re both on the same page and ready to move forward, our Uncontested Divorce process is the simplest and most affordable path.
We help you outline your agreed terms (making sure you cover all main topics), and we take care of the rest — including drafting all required court documents, filing everything on your behalf, and finalizing the process without court appearances or delays.
You save time, money, and avoid unnecessary stress — all while keeping control of the outcome.

STEP ONE - AGREEMENT
Meet with us to discuss your unique situation. We’ll answer all your questions, explain the full process, and make sure you feel confident moving forward.
From there, we guide you through a simple, step-by-step process to help you reach a complete divorce agreement — also known as a Stipulation. We’ll ensure all key topics are covered, including property, finances, and parenting if applicable.
STEP TWO - DOCUMENT PREPARATION
Once your divorce agreement is signed, we draft and prepare all required court documents for you — tailored specifically to your case and fully compliant with Utah law.
This means you can skip the confusing court self-help system and avoid using generic templates from the court or other online divorce sites. With us, you get custom, attorney-prepared pleadings that ensure accuracy, completeness, and peace of mind.
STEP THREE - FINALIZE
Once your divorce documents are complete, we take care of all court filings on your behalf. From there, you simply wait out Utah’s mandatory 30-day waiting period — and we wait with you. Once the judge reviews and signs your Decree of Divorce, it’s official.
Our entire uncontested divorce process typically takes about 45 days from start to finish.
Divorce paperwork is too important to leave to chance. Generic online forms and out-of-state services often miss key legal requirements — especially in Utah.
We’ve seen it all:
Missing or incorrect child support calculations
Incomplete parenting plans
Unenforceable property division
Delays or rejections from the court due to missing documents

At Salt Mediation Group, we walk you through every step of the process and ensure your documents are accurate, customized, and fully compliant with Utah law — so your divorce is done right the first time.
